We, Ocean Co., are proud to introduce ourselves as one of the experienced companies involved in Laboratory & Research testing equipment business in Iran for more than two decades. We have the honor to exclusively represent all the companies owned by Verder Scientific Division.

The VERDER SCIENTIFIC Division of the VERDER Group is setting standards in high-tech scientific equipment for quality control, research and development. The fields of activity cover sample preparation of solids and analyzing technology.

The companies of the division manufacture and supply laboratory instruments for sample preparation through disintegration and homogenization, for heat treatment (physical and material stress tests), for analyzing samples through particle characterization, for combustion/elemental analysis and for materialography (metallography).

The brief history of Verder Scientific is:

2015
With the acquisition of ATM with 150 employees the VERDER group extends the portfolio of its Scientific Division in the business segment of sample preparation of solids.

2014
Supported by the VERDER Group, the “family of companies” benefits from operational synergies, joining forces to expand their product portfolio and further improve service to customers worldwide.

2013
GERO joins VERDER SCIENTIFIC. Their products extend the existing furnace portfolio of CARBOLITE in the temperature range up to 3000°C as well as for applications under vacuum, inert or reactive atmospheres.

2012
ELTRA and CARBOLITE enter the division. Their range of elemental analyzers and furnaces and ovens provides a perfect match to the laboratory and analytical product portfolio.

2011
Due to the continuous growth of VERDER SCIENTIFIC new and more spacious facilities for R&D, production, shipping and administration are built in the city of Haan near Duesseldorf (Germany).

1998
RETSCH TECHNOLOGY is founded. With its innovative products based on Dynamic Image Analysis the new member of the VERDER SCIENTIFIC Division rapidly develops into one of the world’s leading companies for optical particle analyzers. The focus of the VERDER SCIENTIFIC production companies is set on developing new products and improving existing product lines.

1989
RETSCH — a world-renowned company for laboratory mills and sieve shakers — becomes part of the VERDER family, extending the business activities towards scientific equipment. The first cornerstone of VERDER SCIENTIFIC is set.

1959
The young Dutch salesman André Verder starts trading pumps and semi-finished plastic products. André continuously expands the activities by acquiring and setting up new members for the VERDER “family of companies”.
